1907 Artesian Water - Naturally Alkaline
1907 Artesian Water
1907 Water takes it name from the year pioneers first began bottling water in Paeroa, an area in the central North Island of New Zealand famous for over 100 years for its abundance of natural springs. The name Paeroa translates to ‘long ridge’ or ‘mountain range’ referring to the surrounding Coromandel and Kaimanawa mountain ranges. The rain water that falls on these ranges is the original source of the many Paeroa aquifers. 1907 Water, carbon dated at 50,000 years old, rises to the surface from an aquifer 680 feet below the Hauraki Plains at the base of the Kaimanawa Ranges. Bottled at source, 1907 Water is a naturally alkaline artesian water (pH 8.0), that leaves a smooth finish on the palate.
