Berg Water

There are few waters in the world sourced from icebergs. Iceberg water is a very unique product. The name iceberg originates from the dutch ijsbes, literally meaning "ice hill". Berg iceberg water is sourced from North Atlantic icebergs drifting down the Eastern seaboard of Canada past Newfoundland. This water's journey started over 15,000 years ago in the ancient glaciers of western Greenland, where isolation has made its source totally inaccessible to man. It is not until massive pieces of ice break off into the ocean in the form of icebergs that it can be 'harvested'. Production can be limited due to extended winters and the harsh conditions of the North Atlantic. And harvesting icebergs is a dangerous task. They are very unstable, shift frequently and can roll over in seconds, which makes the possibility of drinking iceberg water an accomplishment in itself. With total dissolved solids of less than 5mg/L, it is naturally low in mineral matter with a flavour unmistakably clean, light and pure.
